If there is one thing I hear over and over again from my clients, it’s “I don’t know what to say in my emails or blog”. Well, you can’t use that excuse anymore. I have a great resource to share with you.

First off, let’s fess up! Many of us will be making all kinds of promises to ourselves that involve being a better “business” owner in 2018. By the way, don’t forget to change your copyright dates on your websites!

Many of you will resolve to be more proactive about your marketing efforts. Perhaps you will make some lists or mark out some activities on your calendar. So, with a new year ahead, you add “More Marketing” to your list of New Year’s Resolutions. )And then January 17th rolls in and you CELEBRATE (lol) the national holiday called “Ditch New Year’s Resolution Day”.)

Number one on your list should be staying top-of-mind all year long. That means connecting with stuff that is worthy of their attention.

Mostly, you give up because you just don’t know how to gain a foothold and you don’t know what to offer that will be interesting let alone compelling.

(If you haven’t got a proper email system, you can get a free trial via my favorite provider, Constant Contact. And get free help from me when you start your trial. There are a few other’s out there, but for now, Constant Contact is still the best. Seriously the best choice. Your Sixty Day Free Trial awaits you.)

But wait! Let’s stay on track, shall we? You need to grow your business and that means staying in the marketing mode every day. And while email is just one of the areas you need to engage in to engage your fans and clients, you won’t succeed without it. Then, suddenly, you’re back to the “hole-in-the-bucket-syndrome”: what value can you bring to your fan-base?

Here’s Real Help in Real Time

It’s not easy to come up with content or “reasons” to reach out. Trust me, I do this post every two weeks. I know it’s hard. However, I have a special gift for all who are reading this post.

Wouldn’t it be great to share some of these very “special” holidays with your fans, followers, and clients?

  • Chocolate Fondue Day
  • Squirrel Appreciation Day
  • Random Act of Kindness Day
  • Lost Sock Memorial Day

And a big favorite of mine: Bison Ten Yell Day (which is nothing like it “sounds” and everything to do with how it “sounds”)

This is a small example of the over 500 “special” holidays. You don’t want to miss “Dress Up Your Pet Day”, do you? (I can see my pet portrait peeps jumping on this bandwagon!)

Want a curated list?
