Creative spirits are noble and rare. They should thrive.

The E’s of Selling first started in the mid-80’s to help other art consultants and eventually independent artists learn to sell art. There was a short period in the 90’s when I also taught in other industries. But I never really cared much for helping someone become better at selling carpets or refrigerators.

As someone who has been an avid collector of art, and had the pleasure to selling rare and fabulous collectibles all of my adult life, I really never gained a passion for helping anyone sell factory-line items.

Now with close to three decades of teaching, coaching, coaxing and consoling artists to use my E’s of Selling concepts, this has now officially become “a thing”. And a regular blog post is part of the things I will do to move more artist’s into a thriving and sustainable business model.

The Takeaway:

When you are creating, you are visiting a place in your heart and soul that is uniquely united with every other creative spirit that has ever lived. Enjoy your artistry. Be confident that your creative center will be felt by others.

Remember: You are not selling a mattress!
